HRSA Announces Tom Engels’ Return as Administrator
Mr. Engels previously led HRSA from 2019 to 2021 and brings a wealth of experience, including his work on the White House’s COVID-19 task force and implementing the Provider Relief Fund. He returns to HRSA from his recent role as Sergeant at Arms at the Wisconsin Senate.

Funding Opportunity: Regional Telehealth Resource Center Program and National Telehealth Resource Center Program
HRSA is accepting applications for the Regional Telehealth Resource Center (RTRC) Program and the National Telehealth Resource Center (NTRC) Program for a four-year period of performance (September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2029). HRSA will make up to 12 RTRC Program awards and up to two NTRC Program awards to provide expert and customized telehealth technical assistance across the country. Applications are due April 14, 2025.

Funding Opportunity: Telehealth Rapid Response Center and the Telehealth Research Center
HRSA is accepting applications for the Telehealth Rapid Response Center and the Telehealth Research Center for a five-year period of performance (September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2030). HRSA will make one Telehealth Rapid Response Center award and one Telehealth Research Center award to expand the evidence base and inform policy and programs for telehealth services in underserved populations in the United States. Applications are due April 15, 2025.
